Rick Kaler, CPA, B.Comm

Founder/Owner

Rick Kaler gained extensive knowledge in personal and corporate taxes through six years of public accounting experience and tax-heavy accounting practices. In addition to his designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant, Rick has participated in a three-year In-Depth Tax Program to develop a comprehensive understanding of tax laws to share with his client. Rick is also a generous contributor to his community, where he devotes a considerable amount of time to various church groups aimed at developing the youth in the community.

Michele Shabaga, CPA, CGA

Founder/Owner

Michele has held an accounting designation since 1995 and has focused on small business accounting and taxation issues for the majority of her career.Hailing from Victoria, BC and maintaining ties there, as well as spending much of her leisure time in the Interlake, gives Michele a good outlook on the business environment in many locations. Michele is detail oriented and enjoys working with clients and implementing systems that will streamline their accounting tasks but ensure the data is sufficient for both internal and tax purposes. Her many years of experience are beneficial when considering the tax implications of various transactions.

Izet Sheikh-Zade

Accountant

Izet obtained his university degree in economics in 1992. Since that time, he has worked in the financial sector and has been actively involved in the formation of the stock market of independent Ukraine. To build on his experience and learn more about the specifics of Canadian law, Izet completed an accounting program at Red River College after immigrating to Canada in 2015.He gained valuable experience in personal taxes while working for Liberty TaxService before joining our team in 2021.
